CONTRACT FOR SERVICES
It is your (the client) responsibility to read and understand the following terms and conditions prior to making an order of the services provided by DYNAMIX MIXING & MASTERING LLC.
This service allows you to have your song(s) or album(s), henceforth referred to as a project(s), mixed and/or mastered by a music engineer and obtain digital copies of the mixed & mastered project(s) from a google drive folder delivered by said engineer.
Your audio files, name, phone number, e-mail address and personal information are your sacred material. In order to never purposely divulge your information, we use an SSL certificate on our website to provide protection.
Payments:
Payments are made using any option available during the checkout process. We cannot make special accommodations outside of those options presented to you during the checkout process. If there is an alternative payment method that we should look into, please let us know.

Uploading Material to be Engineered:
Please send the properly labeled recording session(s) wav stems and a rough mp3 mixdown of the full song. Please remember that more stems take longer to mix. Low quality recording sessions are also harder to mix and can’t be fixed by “engineering magic”. Please include any notes you have at the beginning of the process to ensure the engineer has proper direction. If you would like the project(s) to contain metadata embedded, please ensure you include all that apply: Cover Art, Song Title, Artist Name, Album Name, Songwriter, Composer, Arranger, Genre, Year, Website, Copyright Owner.
If the client’s project(s) are not prepared or sent correctly we will either not accept the session files or the services will be rendered using the session files the way they are received.
Completion Time:
General completion time for Mixing is 5 to 10 Business Days. Mixing current turnaround time is also based upon how many revisions are needed after you review your first mix file. Once you are satisfied with the mix, the final files will be packaged and delivered via Google Drive or any alternative method.
General completion time for Mastering is 2 to 4 Business Days. Mastering current turnaround time is also based upon how many revisions are needed after you review your first master file. Once you are satisfied with the mix, the final files will be packaged and delivered via Google Drive or any alternative method.
Mixing and Mastering current turnaround time is also based upon how many revisions are needed during the process. Once you are satisfied with the mix and the master, the final files will be packaged and delivered via Google Drive or any alternative method.
General completion time for Revisions is 2 to 3 Days.
General completion time for Radio Edits is 2 to 3 Days.
All service orders are rendered on a first come first serve basis.
**All completion times stated are only an estimation. Under certain circumstances, the completion time may be extended or shortened any time after purchase. We will also communicate with the client when the times are ahead or behind schedule. Rush Delivery may or may not be available for an extra fee.**
Revisions:
Both the mixing and the master packages include three (3) revisions each. The revisions stage is intended for minor adjustments. General completion time for revisions is 2 to 3 business days (sometimes they’re delivered sooner or later depending on the studio schedule).
Examples of Revisions covered:
Adjustments to instructions given to the engineer that need to be executed differently
Adjustments to volume of an instrument and/or vocals
Adjustments to FX (ex. more or less vocal tuning, more or less reverb)
Minor arrangement adjustments (ex. beat mutes, temporary filter sweeps)
Examples of Revisions NOT covered (WILL cost extra):
Adding drastic instruction that was not mentioned in the original contractual agreement
New file submissions are the you wish to be included (vocal files or instrument files)
**You (the client) have up to 3 busines days from the time we send you the final mix to request any free revisions. After each revision, you have up to 2 business days to request another free revision. After said days, your project is considered complete and you can no longer have the option to use any remaining free revisions. If you want a revision after your project has been completed, you will need to order a new revision at the price of $5 per revision.**
Radio Edits:
If you purchase a radio edit, please specify if you would like the curse words reversed or silenced. If you don’t specify, the engineer will decide which option preserves the ambiance of the song.
Storage:
Upon completion of the project, the engineer will retain session files for as long as possible for future reference.
Returns and Refunds Policy
We stand behind our service and your satisfaction is of high importance to us.
Full Refunds ARE available to be issued if:
– You order Mixing and/or Mastering service, but do not wish to use the service prior to the commencement of the engineering process.
-You order Mixing service, receive one rough/demo mix, and wish to discontinue service.
-You order a Mastering service, receive one rough/demo master, and wish to discontinue service.
Partial Refunds ARE available to be issued if:
-You order a Mixing service, receive your first final mix, and wish to discontinue service. You will receive a 50% refund for the mixing service ordered.
-You order a Mastering service, receive your first final master, and wish to discontinue service. You will receive a 50% refund for the master service ordered.
-You order Mixing and Mastering service, receive your first final mix, and wish to discontinue service. You will receive a 50% refund for the mixing portion of the service ordered and a full refund for the mastering portion of the service ordered.
– You order Mixing and Mastering service, receive two or three revised final mixes and wish to discontinue service. You will only receive a full refund for the mastering portion of the service ordered.
Refunds ARE NOT available if:
– You order Mixing and Mastering service, receive your first mix and revised mix(es) and confirm you are completely satisfied with any of the mixes and/or ask to proceed to mastering.
– You order Mixing and Mastering service, and your project has been completed, delivered and sent to the client via Google Drive or any alternative method.
– You order Mastering service, the mastering has been completed, delivered and sent to the client via Google Drive or any alternative method.
– You order Mixing and Mastering service, receive your first final mix or revised mix(es) and do not respond after 20 business days.
Understanding and Responsibility
The client is responsible for reading and understanding the terms of service prior to accepting this agreement for service. By accepting the contractual agreement, you agree to all of the terms listed above. If you have any inquiries, please contact us and we will be more than happy to answer them for you.
